There is a great variety of sites available online and you must be sure to select what is right for you. Sites such as Gazelle and LaptopsintoCash, for example, offer great advice and a fancy layout, but they tend to lack the dedication of specializing in a single electronic field such as iPhones or laptops solely.

These sites like Gazelle are general electronics buyers, they will ofer4 you a cash reward for sure, but not always as well researched cash payment, and not always the best that can be obtained like you can receive by trading with a site that deals with solely laptops for example, their expertise and knowledge will lead to your benefit time and time again.

So how do we know that these specialized sites are as reputable as Gazelle and some of the other competition? A simple bit of online research can clarify this for you, checking for the VeriSign logo, seeking reviews from sites such as YouTube and even checking through other article directories and forums.

Personally, when I am seeking a site to sell my electronics, whether it be my old iPhone or my laptop that has become outdated one thing I always look for is the layout, use and navigation of the site – included in this would be how easy can I view the sites privacy policy, or terms and conditions pages, have a look at Gazelle and others and see if you can find it by glancing. Research says that many visitors will only remain on a web page for 8 seconds or less, and why? Because they can´t see what they are looking for – the important things especially where trust and money is involved.

Easy Ways to Go Green

Going green, what does that even mean? There is so much information out there that it can be hard to figure what you can even do to make a difference. Most people don’t want make any drastic changes in their lifestyle because they simply don’t have the time to do loads of research or the money buy all of the latest product trends. But if you consider yourself to be environmentally conscious, then you should at least make a few changes. Don’t worry; there are plenty of easy ways to ‘go green.’ Just check out my suggestions below.

1. Unplug your appliances and electronics. Many of your common household appliances and electronics still use electricity, even after you turn them off. So you continue to pay for things that you aren’t even using, plus you waste tons of electricity. So purchase a power strip that you can turn on and off. When you leave the room, flip it off to ensure that you aren’t wasting electricity. This will be great for the environment and your wallet.

2. Recycle your electronics. Millions of pounds of chemical and heavy metals end up in the ground each year because Americans just toss out all of their electronics. Next time, recycle it. You can even consider selling some of your old electronics like cell phones, and make a little extra cash.

3. Buy reusable totes. Instead always using the paper or plastic bags offered at store counters, bring your own tote. Think of how many times you’ve used a plastic bag for fifteen minutes and then just thrown it out. Just make sure to keep your tote bags in your car or in your purse so they are easily accessible whenever you need them.

4. Replace all of your light bulbs with LED lights. You’ll consume about 75 percent less energy then you currently do, which means your electric bill will go down exponentially. They also last far longer than your average household bulb.

These are just a few ways you can easily go green with minimal effort. It’s truly important to be conscious of how your actions affect the big picture. You don’t have to change your entire way of living right away, start off slow and you’ll see how much better you feel. Trust me, you’ll be driving a hybrid and eating organic in no time.
